judgement-day

Judgment Day, by Ödön Von Horvàth

Set in a provincial backwater in Germany in 1937, Judgment Day highlights the issue of moral responsibility.

The Station Master, "who has always done his duty", fails to change the signal. This error of judgment has catastrophic results for everyone in the town. But the play asks us to consider who else is to blame.

Is it the individual or the community?
